The joint 6th Asia-Pacific Congress of Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiology and the 7th Annual meeting of the Indian Society of Vascular & Interventional Radiology (ISVIR) was held at the Grand hotel, New Delhi on October 31st - November 3rd, 2004. This was organized, on behalf of the above two societies, jointly by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and the Delhi State branch of ISVIR. The meeting was co-endorsed by the Chinese Society of Interventional Radiology, Hong Kong Society of Interventional Radiology, Interventional Radiology Society of Australia, Japanese Society of Angiography & Interventional Radiology, Korean Society of Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiology and Thai Society of Interventional Radiology. It was attended by over 700 delegates from across the globe, including those from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Lebanon, Muscat, Austria, Germany, UK, Canada, USA, Brazil, Spain and India.
